"The only chance we get is to make a second chance to make the same mistake twice." That's just a sampler of the many great one-liners this movie was able to churn out in less than 2 hours. David Mamet, also known for his stage plays, has upped the ante on star-studded movies. In this one, he was able to make a film based on possible first-hand movie production experience. Its all about the characters behind a production of a film, the researchers, the production assistants, the cameramen, producers and the actors themselves. You'd be surprised that you've been watching the film for a good one hour and still not get bored by the fast pace of the dialogues and well-defined characters. True to its billing as an independent film released in film festivals, this DVD is a great "barkada" flick during those DVD nights, ending up with some wine while discussing its finer points.

Looks Like: As it mentioned in the credits, the film is about a lot of things. Its what it is to the moviegoer. Shows how David Mamet is said to be a genius of our times.
Rating : If the possibility of its copy props up or a scheduled showing of it is in the offing in your movie cable channel, do catch it at the corner of State and Main.
