"Inside Wants Out" Released : September 15, 2002 Take it from me, I've listened to John Mayer's "Room For Squares" for at least once a day for the last 4 months, and when I opened this new purchase this afternoon - I can fairly declare that this is the better album. It's John and his guitar, acoustic on all your favorite RFS tracks (except probably "Your Body Is A Wonderland"). Thanks to opportunistic big record company, Columbia Records, we are able to hear the man and his music in its best raw form. Really, John goes the same road Dave Matthews Band took, and comparisons don't end at that. Backtrack to 1999, Imagine Mayer doing his gig and strutting his stuff, him and his guitar alone, in small pubs with an independent copy of this CD being sold at less than $10.
