With L'Auberge one remembers the feeling of packing your bag and leaving the comforts of Mom's cooking vis-a-vis, not eating nor taking a bath at all. Its dormitory, bed spacing, relationships, leaving in a different country with different types of people experience. Some things we all wish we did when we were young, but couldn't. Oh, the film is in French, but there are English subtitles too. And Audrey Tatou is still cute in this film, but not as in Amelie. But you're not watching it because of Tatou, right?
